Local glass artist Rachel Laycock has been supported by Arts Council England to take her work out of the gallery spaces and into the outdoors. Rachel’s passion of the material and it’s qualities are still present, using mirror, reflection and refraction to distort and detract from the written text. The work explores the fragility of existence, inner turmoil and the mask we use to detract and hide behind.
