By Car
As we are in a residential area, parking close to the site will be on residential streets as we don’t have a large car park on site. We ask all visitors take note that these areas are also for resident parking and in some cases badge/permit holder spaces.
There is a small car park on site on a first come first served basis located over the road from the Borough Hall but spaces are limited..
By Bus
We have a bus stop (Middlegate) on the festival route with regular services from Stagecoach no.7 bus service
Rail
The nearest rail station is Hartlepool train station 2..5 miles from Headland
The festival is based across several areas all within walking distance of each other. The Event Office/Information Centre is located at the centre of the event at Borough Hall, Middlegate, TS24 0JD.
Friday 4pm – 9pm
Saturday 12pm – 9pm with public houses open until 11pm
Sunday 12pm – 7.30pm
Wintertide is an independent outdoor festival which takes place in and around the streets on the Hartlepool Headland, a coastal town steeped in history, heritage, culture and folklore.
Wintertide Festival ask that everyone uses their best judgement. If you are feeling unwell, please take a lateral flow test. If you test positive for covid-19 please do not attend the festival.
Outdoor Public toilets
– Located in the lower gardens of the Town Square/Squircle
Indoor Venues
– Toilets will be available in selected indoor venues for those attending the workshops, activities and entertainment
Wintertide is FREE to enter, however we do have some workshops, activities and music events which require a ticket (some are chargeable and some are pay what you decide)
