💪 The Twelve Trials of a Hartlepool Heracles

Myth meets the modern North Sea in this powerful new project by SIDEQUEST. Reimagining the legend of Heracles through Hartlepool’s own stories of pride, friendship and everyday strength, familiar places become sites of modern myth. From boxing gyms to piers and car parks.
Part of Lads Lads Lads, this work explores masculinity, belonging and connection, small sparks of light forming constellations of who we are and who we could be.

    About the artists and work

Lads Lads Lads is a creative project by SIDEQUEST celebrating the voices of young men and boys in Hartlepool. Through graffiti and creative workshops, we explore pride, belonging and what it means to be a lad today. Working with local artists, youth clubs and residents, the project lifts up Left Behind voices and reimagines what strength, care and community can look like.
