Wintertide is all about the whole community coming together so we are delighted to be once again working in partnership with some amazing venues and organisations.
Hartlepool Carnival will be bringing smiles to everyone’s faces once again with a wonderful array of Murphys fairground rides for the whole family. Open 4-8pm Friday and 12.30pm til 8pm on Saturday and Sunday.
The Carnival will also be sprinkling Wintertide magic at The Cos with Santa in his Grotto 2-5pm Saturday and 3-5pm Sunday. £2 per visit. Open throughout the weekend, come in and warm up with warming soup, Baileys hot chocolate and mulled wine plus festive scones, Christmas cake and more!
St Hilda’s Church are holding their annual Christmas Fayre on Saturday 11-3pm. Pop in and grab a bargain and don’t forget to check out the Ship Ahoy! Exhibition while you are there.
Headland Baptist Church also has a Christmas Craft Fayre on Saturday 25 November 10-4pm.
Verills Fishshop and Sprinkles will be open 3.30-7pm Friday, 11-4pm Saturday and 12-4pm Sunday for fish and chips, hot drinks and ice cream.
Fresh Bakes are providing hot drinks and savoury snacks in the Borough Hall and The Headland Coffee Wagon and Tickety Boo Seafood will be in the Squircle. Lots of local businesses will be open throughout the weekend, be sure to check them out and support local!
