Urban Chaos - Groove Mission

An interactive, processional performance full of glitz, glamour and disco! The Groove Mission dancers will bring a dazzling, high energy performance with elements of festive magic! The eclectic mash up of ultimate Christmas floor fillers will have you moving & grooving and will fill you to the brim with seasonal spirit!

In The Frame - Cinematic Magic ​

Saturday 1pm – 5.30pm – Croft Room Borough Hall 

In the Frame, a Hartlepool based Filmmakers Collective, strives to promote the film community within the Northeast creative industries. Together we will be showcasing some of our region’s finest filmmakers, including winners from this year’s Tees Valley International Film Festival. This will be complimented by a selection of regional films that have had great success from the wider region. 

1pm – a selection of TVIFF winners presented by Michael Luke.

 

3pm – Kin by Matt McInnes & Brother Nature by Maxy Bianco 

 

 

 

 

Saturday 3.45pm – Tish by Paul Sng

Tish Murtha was a visionary photographer commited to documenting the struggle and inequality of the working-class communities that framed her upbringing. Her archive of work from North East England and London’s Soho in the 70s and 80s is loving realised in this exploration of the legacy of her work and private life by her daughter, Ella Murtha.

Come along to explore the magic of the winter aerial flower in these tasters that are suitable for all. See the moves you explore recreated in a moving aerial performance and take part with your take home glowing winter flowers. 

Bob Beagrie

Book launch of Bob Beagrie’s epic poem ‘Eftwyrd’ (Smokestack Books). Set in 7th Century Northumbria, Brother Oswin journeys from the Tees estuary across the wild moorlands of a plague-stricken kingdom to Whitby for the famous Synod of 664, where his fate will hang in the balance of power between Wilfred of Ripon and Hild of Hartlepool.

Moths at Work – Pif Paf

Sunday 26 November
3pm-5.45pm

Moths At Work sees Ray and Flash two brave disco Moth electricians sent down from the Moon in the sky to collect moments of fun, pride and silliness to beam back home. Have a dance, share a joke and help them discover the very best of your neighbourhood. 

Moths At Work Moon is a joyful and highly mobile physical Street Theatre interaction. It works in daytime or after dark when the illuminated costumes and Moon Cart come into their own.
